The Moorings overlooks a piece of paradise right on the beachfront at Golden Beach, making its staff just as happy to be there as the customers.

Lindsay Sutton is one Moorings staff member always happy to be at work. He began working there after seeking the assistance of STEPS Employment Solutions to help him get back into the workforce following an injury.

Today Lindsay is loving his job and owner Peter Weisse couldn’t be happier with Lindsay’s work describing him as a ‘jack of all trades’.

“I’m very pleased with Lindsay,” he said.

“He takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail.

“The customers just love him.”

Peter has employed several staff from STEPS and said the jobseekers who have joined The Moorings team have all been hard working and loyal.

“STEPS is a great organisation,” he said.

“I had used STEPS services before coming to the Sunshine Coast so when I moved here and needed staff I went straight to them.”
